We have a new opportunity for a graduate or junior Civil Engineer to join our Christchurch office and contribute to a broad range of projects within our Transport division.

Within a supportive team environment, you with be tasked with providing traffic engineering and transport planning advice, designing roading, pavement, cycleway and infrastructure services, preparing contracts and observing construction works. Projects will be across a range of areas, enabling you to enjoy a wide variety of work. The team has a strong digital innovation focus and this is continually developing and evolving.

Some of the current projects that the team are involved with include:

  • Major cycleway projects
  • North Canterbury Transport Infrastructure Rebuild (NZ Transport Agency and KiwiRail recovery work following the Kaikoura 2016 earthquake)
  • Christchurch Northern Corridor
  • Large national and international projects across Aurecon

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineering
  • Broad civil design skills
  • A proven attitude and ability to learn
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in writing clear and accurate reports
  • Enthusiasm, self-motivation, a team approach and client focus
