KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reception

  • Greet and welcome visitors and employees. Consequently informing the relevant host of the visitor’s of new joiner’s arrival.
  • Monitor and ensure that the reception area is kept tidy and projects a business like image.
  • Ensure that all staff uses the biometrics facility religiously.
  • Check and sign for deliveries, before informing the relevant member of staff of their arrival.

 Office Administration

  • Facilitate and manage inventory of office supplies.
  • Assist in Building Admin correspondence – i.e securing permits.
  • Assist on procurement related task

KEY QUALITIES AND SKILLS:                                                                                                                             

  • Good planning and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to use initiative and resolve issues that arise at a junior level.
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and managers.
  • Should be a good team player.
  • Should proactively seek personal and professional development opportunities.
  • Be an active participant in demonstrating the Aurecon values and behaviours.

 DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years of previous experience in the same capacity
  • Developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literacy, specifically MS Office applications
