Aurecon's Built Environment business is dedicated to supporting our key markets, and this specialist group houses our project management expertise in a broad range of sectors including Commercial Buildings, Infrastructure, Defence, Telecommunications, Education, and Health.

To support our increasing workload and a robust future growth strategy we are looking for a suitably skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our high performing Telecommunications team at our prestigious Perth office. We would like to hear from career-minded industry professionals who can demonstrate the tenacity to succeed and be part of our success. This role will be offered on a permanent staff basis.

The preferred candidates will have worked in a Project Management or Contract Administration capacity in the Telco sector, ideally within a similar professional services or consultancy environment. Client side project management experience would also be highly regarded but not essential.

The key role requirements will include:

  • Applying an understanding of site acquisition/design/construction/engineering project management principles to deliver solutions of varying complexity
  • Managing work programmes and forecasting to ensure that they are delivered to client expectations, timeframes and specifications
  • The ability to engage with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities
  • Supporting multiple concurrent projects across the entire life cycle, including design management, tendering, contract administration, financial management, project scheduling and risk management

As an ideal candidate for this position you should possess:

  • Experience in design in the SAED space is mandatory
  • Relevant experience in managing challenging projects, within a similar consulting environment.
  • The ability to develop and maintain existing client relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to present during stakeholder meetings
  • A commitment to managing and understanding to a multi-disciplined team effort
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Construction/Project Management/Engineering
